Portals Nous is located on the southwest coast of Mallorca in the heart of the Bay of Palma. The place itself is rather small and inconspicuous with around 2600 inhabitants and yet it is a popular destination for numerous wealthy personalities and holidaymakers. Even the Spanish royal family often come here. The reason for this is the exclusive heart of the place: the port facility “Puerto Portals”. It is considered to be one of the noblest luxury ports on the island and is the scene of the most expensive and noble luxury yachts in Mallorca. Yachts with a total length of 8 to 60m can moor in “Puerto Portals”. The draft should not exceed 4m in the rear part of the harbor. At the port entrance, the maximum draft is 7.5m. The port has a total of 650 berths. Of these, 169 are reserved for temporary transit yachts. The places on the jetty are each equipped with water and electricity connections. Sufficient cranes and a travel lift are available for maintenance and repair work to lift boats out of the water if necessary. The range of services in the port of Portals Nous is very extensive and offers every convenience: A 24-hour service ensures that the system is monitored. The port staff is also available around the clock. Of course there is also a petrol station in the port. The facility is also equipped with sanitary facilities, including a washing machine that can be used. There is also a sailing school and a charter service right in the harbor.
Overall, “Puerto Portals” has an excellent infrastructure. Numerous shops are within easy reach, and some banks are also very close by. In addition, several restaurants, cafés and bars, which are lined up along the harbor promenade and invite you to culinary flights of fancy, take care of your physical well-being. In a noble ambience it is easy to stay in one of the star restaurants, such as the famous “Baiben” and watch the hustle and bustle of the many luxury holidaymakers. One or the other famous personality may also be among them. The boutiques along the promenade are accordingly exclusive. Fashion enthusiasts will find one or two unique pieces here.
Regular events in the port also ensure sufficient entertainment. These include all sporting events, sailing regattas or children’s festivals – every effort is made to make the stay as diverse and unique as possible.
As an initially inconspicuous place, it makes every effort to meet the expectations of its discerning luxury-loving holidaymakers and yacht owners, and even to exceed them.
